About

Tejas UnniKrishnan/ˈteɪ.dʒʌs/ — "tay-juss"

I build software and take an unreasonable number of notes.

What I do

I write software and design systems, and spend a fair bit of time on the decisions in between — the trade-offs that decide how much a codebase hurts in two years. I like the technical work, but I like the problem-solving more: figuring out what's actually going on before deciding what to build.

Outside of it

I'm always building, organising, or learning something outside of work too. I have a soft spot for personal systems — note-taking setups, task trackers, small tools for problems that probably didn't need solving. "Perpetual note-taker" is basically an accurate job title at this point. That habit lives at Tejas' Zettelkasten.

I'm also a son, husband, and father, which has changed how I think about time and priorities more than any productivity system has.

💡

Fun fact: I use the .uk TLD because my surname initials are UnniKrishnan.
